
AQUATIC FITNESS
Would you enjoy a great workout without pain? This complete pool workout includes cardio-vascular conditioning, strength training using various water equipment, balance training and flexibility.
AWESOME ABS (30 minutes)
Challenge your CORE! A fun approach to strengthening the major muscles of the torso, including the abdominals, obliques, spinal musculature, and gluteals.
BOOT CAMP
A fun and challenging cardiovascular & strength work out in a circuit training format…Military Style! This class incorporates all of our toys…steps, jump ropes, hula hoops, cones, agility ladder, rings, light hand weights, Exer-tubes, Exer-balls, Your Own Body Weight, etc. Any fitness level is welcome.
BOSU
BOSU for EVERYONE! A truly unique training tool that will improve balance, core strength, upper and lower body strength, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility. All fitness levels welcome.
CARDIO FUN: You do not have to be an expert in anything for this class! Just come with a great cardio attitude. You will sweat and have fun doing intervals of varied cardio activities using a variety of tools such as the BOSU, the STEP, the gym, the track, and Gliding Discs. Some strength activities that keep the heart rate up with stability balls, tubing, and light weights will be included in the cardio intervals. All fitness levels are welcome.
INTERMEDIATE/CARDIO KICKBOXING:
These two workouts pack more than just a punch!! Now available in two different intensity levels. Don’t be fooled, ANY skill level can attend either class. You will work at you own PACE. You will learn non-contact self defense techniques while improving your balance, cardiovascular system, and upper, lower, and core body strength. The sky is the limit with this class. The challenges are endless with cardiovascular intervals and/or additional strength training with Exer-balls, Exer-tubes, light hand weights, or the good ol’ fashioned “Your Own Body Weight”.
POWER PUMP
The hottest Group Strength Training workout around! Use free weight equipment to get a great full body strength training workout. We recommend a maximum of 2-3 Power Pump classes per week (never 2 consecutive days) to allow your body maximum recovery results.
SENIOR POWER PUMP
(50 minutes) A gentle strength training class with free weights, Exer-balls, and Exer-tubes. This is a FUN opportunity for ANYONE to safely learn the basic technique of each Power Pump exercise while benefiting strength and bone mass.
SilverSneakers® I – Muscular Strength & Range of Movement
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
SilverSneakers® II – Cardio Circuit
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.
SilverSneakers® YogaStretch
YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
SPINNING®:
The original indoor cycling program, Spinning® is more than a workout – it’s a philosophy. At its core, Spinning® is a journey to health and fitness, an opportunity for you to not only experience an incredible training program, but also personal challenge, camaraderie and energy – all at your own pace. Whether you ride to get stronger, nurture your body and spirit, sweat out the events of the day or reinvent yourself, Spinning® is your ride. Only one program brings it all together – Spinning®.
STEP 45:
A fun-filled, easy to follow, 45 minute STEP workout for everyone. Class includes a warm-up to introduce the STEP and a heart-pumping cardio STEP routine sure to rev up your day! Come join the fun!
STEP INTERVAL:
This high energy class is great for all skill levels. Three minutes of BASIC step moves with intervals of three minutes of BASIC sculpting/strength moves; it makes step class FUN without having to think so much!
STEP & STRENGTH:
Do you want to kill two workout birds with one stone? Well, STEP & STRENGTH is your ammunition! This is a complete workout that is great for all STEP skill levels. Fifteen minute intervals of STEP combinations are combined with five minute intervals of STRENGTH training using free weights, Exer-tubes, and Exer-balls.
We offer Intro to Power Pump, Step, Kickboxing & Yoga for anyone who would like to learn before attending a regular class. See the Group Fitness schedule for days/times. Please sign up at the front desk. Feel free to attend classes without taking an intro.
All classes are one hour in length, unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to change the instructor without prior notice and cancel any class with low attendance.
A minimum of three (3) members are needed to hold a class with the exception of SilverSneakers® classes.
An average of ten (10) members are needed for a class to be continued on to the next month.
